There’s no doubt that boredom is an expensive problem in the workplace, but it’s recently been claimed that boredom costs $750 billion per year in the US alone. This paper looks at the true cost of boredom in the workplace, and discusses what we can do to boost engagement, support productivity and keep our people happy.
